Travel back to meet the brave students who changed the world and earned their place in history as the Freedom Riders. In this original Youth Performance Company production -- based on a true story and written by YPC artistic director-founder Jacie Knight -- a group of students boards buses to challenge segregation in 1961. They end up embarking on the journey that began a revolution in the civil rights movement. It was this event and others that followed inspired thousands from across the country to gather for the Freedom Summer Project of 1964.
