Cherry Blossoms (Sakura in Japanese), symbolizes the transcendence of life seen in this short-lived blossom. The flower also symbolizes other fleeting experiences such as beauty, hope and Spring. Panoramic oil paintings and digital textiles of blossoms immerse the viewer. The work prototypes new experiments with digital technology. Video projections, fine-art ceramics and wearable technology bloom in profusion. Cherry Blossoms offers a fresh feminine perspective of Spring.
