Gino Terrell

Gino Terrell is a junior at Hamline University studying Communication and Digital Media Arts. At Hamline University, he’s on the senior staff for the school’s weekly newspaper, The Oracle, a digital media specialist for Hamline School of Business and editor for the Communication Studies seasonal newsletter, The Communicator.

He’s received recognition for his journalism work from the Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists (MN SPJ), as he was named one of two recipients of the 2014 MN SPJ Student Scholarship; and the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) – he placed fourth for Best Sports Story at the 2014 ACP Best of Midwest Newspaper Convention.

Terrell is excited to contribute to TC Daily Planet because it gives him an opportunity to write outside of sports, his beat for The Oracle.
