The Minnesota Centennial Showboat Players bring their famed melodramatic touch to the Robert Louis Stevenson classic about a good doctor who struggles with some very bad impulses in pursuit of a dark figure who's been terrorizing London. Now celebrating its 56th season of over-the-top family fun, the company invites you to get involved in the action by booing the baddies and cheering the heroes. You'll also be entertained by a number of director Vern Sutton's patented musical olios, song-and-dance interludes straight out of vaudeville. Plus, the Showboat theater itself is filled with vintage charm, including painted scenery, footlights and plenty of stage magic.
