The Uptown Art Fair is biggest art fair this weekend, and the second biggest event in the state behind the Minnesota State Fair. The fair features over 300 artists in forms ranging from sculpture and painting, to jewelry, ceramics, wood and more. Attendees can also enjoy live performance, food, and a youth art fair, among other festivities.

Another big juried art fair takes place over at Powderhorn Park, which features 184 regional and national artists of various disciplines. Celebrating 23 years, the fair includes a Community Showcase and Group Exhibitors, which shines a light on local talent.

Phillips Music Festival, August 3
The Phillips Musical Festival offers a full day of diverse music, local art, food, and a Phillips Neighborhood pow wow from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Also included this year are health and fitness exhibitions featuring Zumba, Afro-Brazilian Capoeira and Puerto Rican Bomba.

Northern Spark was set to light up Minneapolis with glowing art installations and projections on the night of June 14. But a massive rainfall that weekend dampened the fun. This weekend you are invited to the re-scheduled Take the Field project at Kix Field, with Nighttime Post and the Pedal Bear also making a return.

7th Annual Caffetto Arts & Crafts Fair, August 3
Want something more intimate? This Wedge community arts fair, featuring only forty artists, serves as a marked contrast to the bigger festivals this weekend. If you don’t like huge crowds but love art, this fair might be more your speed. The fair will also offer tasty food from Anchor Fish & Chips food truck, and live music by Black Audience and Fergus Plinko, among others.

Red Stag Block Party In Cahoots, August 3
The Red Stag Supper Club & The Growler invite you to Minneapolis’ First Collaboration Festival, In Cahoots, featuring eight Minnesota breweries. The breweries formed four teams to create four beers that attendees can vote on at the block party. A portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to the winning team’s charity of choice.
