As a partner with one of the leading human service organizations centered on homelessness, St. Stephen's Human Services, zAmya Theater is a company devoted to ending homelessness through the tools of community-based theater making. In zAmya's educational, emotionally stirring and surprisingly funny production, Dorothy loses her home in rural Minnesota to a flood. Newly homeless and without a support network, Dorothy heads to Minneapolis in search of assistance. She encounters the Great Witch of Good Intentions who recommends she travel to the Government Center to check in on the 'county plan to end homelessness.' With sharp witted comedy and sing-a-long songs, There's No Place Like Home is an enrapturing tale the whole family can enjoy.
