Come join us for a lovely Sunday morning brunch block party with Friendly Streets Initiative activities and demonstrations, free food, and art. Free and open to the public! The block party will be on Selby Avenue between Fairview and Dewey.

Activity Highlights:

  • Connect with neighbors to share ideas about Fairview
  • Boulanger Pottery will have a wheel throwing demo at 11am and Claytime for everyone at 1pm
  • Friendly Streets Demo: Build a bumpout or creative crosswalk with the FSI team at 11:30am
  • Flamingo Foosball and Tea with the Meteata Cart by Jon Reynolds
  • 12pm: A Transporting Music performance by Greg Herriges
  • Several delicious food options!
  • Many of the local antique stores across the street will be open in the afternoon as well!

This project is a partnership with Hamline Midway Coalition and Union Park District Council to imagine a friendlier Fairview for everyone, whether you’re traveling on two feet, four paws, or two or more wheels. Hope you can join us!
