This show takes off like a shot and rarely descends to earth thereafter!  When a Kander and Ebb heroine cries out “Sometimes you’re happy and sometimes you’re sad, but the world goes ‘round,” she really means it, just as she means that life is a cabaret old chum, or maybe this time she’ll win!  And the World Goes ‘Round showcases songs from New York, New York, 70, Girls, 70, The Happy Time, The Rink, The Act, Woman of the Year, Chicago, Funny Lady, Cabaret, Kiss of the Spider Woman, among others.
