Front man of the popular local country band Rocket Club and KFAN sports DJ Chris Hawkey steps out on his own with a self-titled solo EP, recorded in Nashville. His high-energy live show is set to include his own music and cuts from the album, plus covers of great country tunes. With Hawkey at the mike, Rocket Club's opened for artists like Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Sugarland, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert and Eric Church. Hawkey's still with the band, who recently followed up their successful singles "One More Day,""One Thing Beautiful" and "North Country," with their latest CD, 2014's Lucky.
