Creative inspiration can be fickle, striking writers when they least expect it. Here's hoping the company members of Theatre Unbound and their guests -- about 40 artists total -- don't have to wait too long for their "aha!" moments during 24:00:00 Xtreme Theatre Smackdown. They'll create six plays in 24 hours -- that includes writing and rehearsing -- and then produce the results on stage right before your eyes. Will there be tragedy? Comedy? Existential drama disguised as farce? Nobody knows till 24 hours before show time.
