This world-premiere satire, based on an essay by C.S. Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia), focuses on the Avarice family, who're getting ready to celebrate Exmas on the island of Niatirb (Britain spelled backwards). But when the Avarices becomes too caught up in all the holiday hubbub, their teenage daughter is forced to find a way to rediscover the real meaning of the season. This Open Window Theatre production was written by its artistic director Jeremy Stanbary, with an eye towards capturing the well-known wit and wisdom of Lewis.
