In 1975, with the war in Vietnam finally over and the women's liberation movement in full swing, a group of women were admitted into the Master of Divinity program at Princeton Theological Seminary -- a first in the country. Among these trailblazers was Kristine Holmgren, an idealistic and determined young Macalester College grad who wanted to change the world, starting with her ordination to ministry.
