The Impact of Women Leaders in the State Legislature

Minnesota has one of the highest percentages of women serving in the state legislature in the country. Currently, 67 out of 201 members are women and many hold leadership positions. Given these figures, how have women leaders made a difference in the legislative decision-making process? What barriers still remain for women in politics and how can these be overcome?
