Minneapolis residents got ready for the first annual Lantern Festival, set to take place Saturday night. Nicollet mall will be filled with lanterns of all shapes, sizes, colors and animals. For nealry a month, community workshops have been held from Powderhorn Park to North Minneapolis in anticipation.
