This program, featuring the documentary Ghosts of Rwanda, examines the causes and events of the 1994 genocide when close to a million people perished. The event will focus on the lack of intervention from the United States and other national and international bodies, efforts towards justice, and current challenges facing the country.
The event is open to the public and no reservations are necessary. $10 general public, $5 students and seniors, free to Mitchell students. $35 2 standard CLE credits, 2 clock hours for educators. More information at www.worldwithoutgenocide.org/events.
