The first man to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean, Charles Lindbergh's fame knew no bounds, but his storied life came crashing down around him when his baby boy was stolen out of his crib in 1932. A winner at the 2012 New York Music Festival, Michael Ogborn's Baby Case delves into the crime, the media frenzy surrounding it and the subsequent "Trial of the Century" of accused kidnapper and murderer Bruno Hauptmann. Boasting 26 songs in its '30s-inspired jazz score, the musical challenges History Theatre's cast of 11 to take on nearly 90 roles, portraying principles like Lindbergh's wife Anne, Walter Winchell, J. Edgar Hoover, Will Rogers, William Randolph Hearst and many more.
