Nothing says Christmas like choral music performed in the majestic acoustics of a church, and one of the best ways to experience it is the annual Twin Cities favorite Exultate Chamber Choir and Orchestra's Tidings of Joy -- Christmas Festival. Commemorating Benjamin Britten's 100th birthday, this year's program includes portions of the composer's A Ceremony of Carols, performed with harp, as well as several of his motets. First performed in 1912, Ralph Vaughan Williams'Fantasia on Christmas Carols brilliantly weaves together English folk carols of old. You'll also have a chance to sing along with favorite and lesser-known carols like "O Little Town of Bethlehem,""Lo, How a Rose e'er Blooming,""In the Bleak Midwinter" and "Jesus Christ the Apple Tree."
