Local composer Kurt Metzger wants his holiday show to feel like he's invited his friends over for an intimate Christmas party, so this year's version of The Warmest Christmas has been designed to bring the warmth of home to the stage. The show has been moved into a smaller venue and spread over more nights, while Metzger will bring his own piano from home and will recreate his living room on stage. To complete the picture, Metzger's mom will bake her traditional gingerbread men for everyone in the audience to take home. Metzger will be joined by his daughters as well as some of the areas finest musicians for a program that includes his original compositions as well as holiday favorites such as "Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer" and "Jingle Bells."
