Joni Mitchell offered her preternatural perspective on love, life and culture, invoking poetic and political insight well beyond her years. Mitchell's music and lyrics affected me profoundly back in the 70's when I was a girl—mere steps behind her into an unwieldy world.
Years later, I shared her music with my children and am honored to be bringing these songs to stage alongside my youngest daughter, Kitty Jensen. Electricity will focus mainly on Mitchell's earlier work—songs primarily gleaned from her albums For the Roses and Blue.
As promised, we are presenting the show again because tickets sold out so quickly we were all taken by surprise. Reserve your tickets early and please join us for the final staging of this great music!
Kitty and I wish to thank Pete Linman, Jeff Waryan and Adrian Suarez for their creative expertise, generosity and hard work putting this show together with us.
