Black Balloon Publishing celebrates new fiction and the 2014 Horatio Nelson Fiction Prize at Magers & Quinn

Gather for an evening of readings by Mike Meginnis and Kevin Clouther, two award-winning and critically acclaimed authors. Mike won the 2013 Hoartio Nelson Fiction Prize for his debut novel, Fat Man and Little Boy. Kevin's collection, We Were Flying to Chicago, was discovered when he submitted the manuscript to the same prize.

The Horation Nelson Fiction Prize is awarded annually to a previously completed, unpublished fiction manuscript of over 50,000 words. The winning author receives $5,000 and a Black Balloon Publishing book deal. There is no reading fee. Submissions for the 2014 Horatio Nelson Fiction Prize will be accpeted between October 1st and October 31st, 2014 at blackballoonpublishing.com
