BACKGROUND
beyond the LOOP was originally created for Northern Spark 2014 but was cancelled due to rain. beyond the LOOP combines aerial acrobatics, media manipulation, dance, and social media to explore our dreams of wanting more for our cities. beyond the LOOP is a performance exploration of the negotiations we enter as we cross boundaries of race, class, culture, gender, generation and geography.

The Play on Penn series, running August-September, aims to create an attractive destination for community-building, and is an opportunity to demonstrate the future possibilities of the Penn Avenue corridor.
